Position location is in Broomfield, at Northwest Parkway, LLC.  Northwest Parkway is one of four toll road operators in Colorado, running 9 miles on the northwest side of Denver.  Northwest Parkway toll road has a complete toll collection system which tracks, manages, and bills customers that drive the road. We are a leader in technology and are looking for someone to help keep us there!  Our small team has a great work environment, and we are looking for someone with a positive attitude to join our crew.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Provide hardware maintenance, desktop support and on-call support for toll collection system.  Duties include installing and maintaining Toll Collection roadside hardware, monitoring, and other daily routines.  Assist in new deployments from the systems perspective coordinating with end users and consulting resources.  Other duties include desktop support, working on outdoor equipment to include but not limited to vehicle tracking hardware, cameras and DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communication) antennas.  This position requires the ability to work on hardware and software. This position requires someone who is self-motivated and likes to problem solve.  There are no silos here, you will be able to help in all areas of technology. 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Daily monitoring and maintenance of Toll Collection and ITS hardware, including elevated equipment (~20 feet)
  • Monitor backups
  • Test and apply new software updates
  • Support System Engineer on new projects
  • Plan and expand current service offerings
  • Provide desktop customer support
  • Share 24-7 on-call duties for toll collection system
  • Work on ITS equipment (CCTV, Variable message signs, etc.)
  • Perform other job-related duties as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Related Experience:
  • Degree in related field or comparable work experience
  • O365 experience a plus
  • ITS a plus
  • Networking/VoIP a plus
  • Wireless security a plus

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to gather requirements, design and implement appropriate solutions
  • Strong process-oriented experience in terms of implementation and completion
  • Ability to work well with others
